2. Involve clients in their own transformation.
3. Insure a peaceful environment where clients feel comfortable and safe.
4. Encourage clients of the importance of being proactive about their health care.

Our Values at Sana Vida are:

Whole Body Health
We honor the mind, body, heart, and spirit in each individual, knowing the need to balance and blend all these elements. We teach how to believe in one’s true self and look to one's own body for answers. We believe no one can listen to your body for you. To grow and heal, you have to take responsibility for listening to your body yourself.

Integrity
In business and in relationships, we conduct ourselves with honesty, fairness, truth, and respect. We treat others, as we would want to be treated. We focus on the collective good.

Service
We value the practice of service and what it teaches us about ourselves, and our relation to others. Our clients are here to see and experience the world in new ways. We are attuned to and care about their experience, needs, and expectations.

Teamwork
Working together inclusively and collaboratively with energy, intention, and commitment. We keep each other informed, share what we are thinking and doing to better serve our clients.

Welcoming to All
We invite people to find space here, to feel safe, to create community, to feel at home, and find nourishment. Our environment is nurturing, relaxing, stimulating, and inspiring. We hope you agree.

We at Sana Vida hope you can take our mission and our values to better your life, one day at a time.

RESTORATIVE SKINCARE

Brenda Morris has dedicated her life to educating, rejuvenating and de-stressing. In her practice of 6 years, she has developed a full practice by teaching people how to restore their skin and prevent future damage. In addition to her many continuing education classes, Brenda has completed specialized training at the International Dermal Institute in Dallas, Texas. By specializing in only a few of the highest quality product lines, such as Dermalogica and SkinCeutical, Brenda has been able to master her knowledge of these products providing her clients with amazing results. Brenda has a high percentage of clients interested in Anti-Aging. Her best technique is her physical touch, ability to educate clients about proper maintenance and helping them become comfortable with the skin they have. She always gives the best facial that not only gives wonderful results, but offers a relaxing experience, something they will look forward to next month. The best advice she gives to both men and women is to help slow the aging process using prevention and correction. "I have found that most professionals, homemakers and students seldom know the importance of skincare and self care. We all burn candles at both ends by working countless hours, without taking a breath & relaxing from time to time. I urge you to re-think this philosophy! Partake in regular treatments, take time to meditate & focus on your mental health as well."

BODYWORK & YOGA

Trish von Halla has made massage her life’s work. Since 1980, she has pursued this profession and no other. Even in her spare time, what she does for fun is to read books related to her profession. She is fully certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Trish has a non-linear talent for sensing the exact location of a person’s discomfort, and then for working with it in such a way that it is not inflamed. She is highly nurturing because she is highly attuned to her ability to sense. Among the techniques Trish has studied are shiatsu, acupressure, Lomi Lomi, Thai (in Thailand), Zero Balancing, Swedish / Deep Tissue, Cranial Sacral, and positional release. These techniques may appear to be superficially distinct, but all trails lead to the mountaintop.

Connie Mendoza   A practicing body therapist for over 15 years, Connie Mendoza has been in the field of health and fitness since 1984. She employs a natural and non-invasive approach that accelerates healing. Connie specializes in strengthening the immune system and relieving mental and emotional stress in those who are facing life’s important decisions in this ever-changing society. Her work is designed to enhance the quality and wellness of one’s life experiences. Her touch is strong, yet soft. Her sense-of-humor, wit, and wisdom bring lightness to many situations. Her focus when teaching is to bring you to a centered, tranquil state of being, from which your creative energy may be liberated and expressed. Ongoing training and education continually refines Connie’s treatments, and you receive the benefit. Pertinent training includes: The Acupressure Institute, Berkeley, CA; Ashiatsu (Barefoot Shiatsu) teaching certification with Edward Spencer; Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio- Philosophy; Hatha Yoga and Shadow Yoga teacher training at Moksha Yoga Shala with Mark Horner.
